Superstars in Colorado History

Superstars in Colorado.........who were/are they?? Many nationally famous people have lived in Colorado. We will be looking at the best of the best in several categories: athletes, entrepreneurs, doctors, entertainers, artists and sculptors, musicians and writers. 75 years ago Hattie McDaniel, who was born and raised in Denver, became the first African-American to receive an Academy Award. She will be one of our featured superstars. Our Speaker, Ed Weising, is a historian and tour guide with over 30 years of experience as a speaker. He has lived in Colorado for over 20 years and has worked as a step-on guide for motor coach tours and is working with Golden History Center and History Colorado Center as a walking tour guide
