Our Tour Season for 2021 is drawing to a close!  Be sure to attend one or more of these interesting tours before the leaves fall and the snow flies!

We are pleased to provide these informative, low cost, high fun monthly tours in and around the local area. 


  Saturday, September 11-- Native American Culturally Modified Tree Hike with John Anderson     9 am - 12 pm                                           John Anderson will lead this fascinating journey through Fox Run Regional Park in the Black Forest area. 

                                 Along the way the many and varied culturally modified trees will be visited, and stories of the meaning and 

                                 characteristics  of the trees will be explored.

 Wednesday, September 15--Seven Stones Botanical Gardens Cemetery and Highline Canal Walk with the Audubon Society      10 am - 1 pm   SOLD OUT, WAITING LIST ONLY, CONTACT NANCY  720-932-6990

Seven Stones is a unique Botanical Garden Cemetery, filled with beautiful art and stunning views of the foothills.   Combine that setting with the High Line Canal, which is nearby, and we will have a glorious day walking and admiring the physical and man-made beauty.  Becky from Seven Stones will be our hostess and provide an overview of Seven Stones.  Kate from the Audubon Society will lead us on a short High Line walk, looking at the birds and the trees (and the flowers and the bees and the moon up above .....)

Tuesday, October 5 -- Fairmount Cemetery Tour  10 am - 1 pm  SOLD OUT, WAITING LIST ONLY, CONTACT NANCY

                               Discover one of Denver’s most renowned contemporary horticultural, wildlife and civic assets. It’ll take more than

                                    one Fairmount  visit for us to cover the 280 acres of trees, monuments, gardens and historical structures. Let's get

                                    started!  On this visit we will see a variety of areas, including Millionaire's Road, visit some Colorado pioneers, and learn

                                     a lot about Denver History along the way.   Following the tour we will picnic in the Rose Garden (lunch is included).
