Go back and explore Colorado as the settlers did! We'll hike through pristine open space to the historic Grigs homestead.
Listen as members from the Highlands Ranch Historical Society tell the tales from a time long ago.
A picnic lunch will be provided. Price is per person.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate. We will travel up and down hills in areas that have cactus.
WHAT TO BRING: closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, long pants are highly recommended, camera, binoculars

DIRECTIONS: From University Blvd, turn south on Wildcat Preserve Pkwy. Turn east on McArthur Ranch Rd then south on Grigs Road for1.0 miles. At the 1.0 mile make road becomes dirt.
Continue on the dirt road for another 0.7 miles and park in the pavilion parking lot at the top of the hill.
